Movement meditation is a way of entering into a flow of consciousness often obstructed by everyday tensions, a journey to greater embodiment, to inspire, improve flexibility, balance, vitality and connection to one’s Self. This evolutionary journey is an effective, creative system of progressing bringing greater fluidity, strength, longevity, presence, passion and compassion in the heart and inner meditation to the flow of life!
Each class has its own unique flow depending on the seasons, the cycle of the moon and the energy of the group. Classes are breath inspired journeys that offer a complete spectrum of rhythms from meditative and rejuvenating to the challenging and empowering – to create whole body transformation of strength and fluidity, circulation and centering.
Using music as a universal tool for cultivating the flow creating the experience of breath and rhythm.
Classes are sequenced around the function and energy of the movements in a way that allows every student to find and develop their rhythm which is appropriate for them that day in relation to the flow of life. During classes connect fully to your experience your breath, thought/emotion waves, movement and energy attending to your own flow.
Class will finish with relaxation techniques allowing you to return home to the source within yourself.

Remedial and Sports massage has been steadily gaining recognition over many years, although it has been practised since Egyptian and Roman times. It has been used as a way of aiding recovery from exercise or injury and lifestyle or postural habits and patterns. This form of massage has become more popular over the past 30 years and more Advanced Remedial methods have been developed.
Techniques such as Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Tissue Release, Neuromuscular Techniques, Muscle Energy Techniques and Trigger Point Therapy are used in treatments depending on the individual needs and requirements advancing the therapist’s ability to help ease and release soft tissue problems. This coupled with advancement in scientific research and the understanding of how Soft Tissue functions, has enabled the therapy to evolve. These techniques have been developed to help correct conditions such as back pain, neck and shoulder pain, frozen shoulder, postural problems, sciatica and tennis/golfers elbow to name a few.
Advanced Remedial Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy develops an understanding of the way the musculoskeletal system functions and dysfunctions. Soft Tissue Techniques such as those mentioned above are primarily used to help the Soft Tissue to release restrictions/adhesions in the body’s tissues as well as lengthening shortened muscles. Stimulating the body’s systems to help repair itself and thus enabling the body to realign, taking stress off the joints and aid freedom of movement. The release of stress in both the body’s tissues and mentally can help to return the body to a more balanced state of being and homeostasis.
Corrective Exercises are also given to release tight shortened muscles and strengthen weak or overstretched muscles helping the client to restore balance to their body, improve posture and maintain treatment benefits.
Aromatherapy is the ancient wisdom and art of the therapeutic use of essential oils and goes hand in hand with Mother Nature, honouring and maintaining the infinite complexity of her creations. Essential oils are the fragrant, highly concentrated natural constituents which are extracted from plants and trees. The extractions capture the essence of the plants and their many valuable healing powers and properties, which work in harmony with the body and bring a wide range of health benefits that can be used effectively to enhance good health. These health-giving benefits include improving the complexion of your skin by stimulating cellular renewal, easing aches and pains, balancing emotions and supporting the body’s natural healing process. They have anti-inflammatory, analgesic, decongestant and immunostimulant properties to name a few and many more therapeutic uses.
Emma has an integrated approach to Aromatic medicine the two complementary paradigms, namely Holistic Aromatherapy and Aromatic Science, which spans both methodologies, combining the best of both approaches in order to initiate healing embracing all aspects of being – to facilitate physical, mental and emotional well-being.
An essential oil is a synergy on its own because of numerous bio-chemical compounds. In creating plant life nature has dispensed countless elements, often put together in a synergistic way, so that one plant often can take care of many different functions simultaneously. Each essential oil has numerous healing effects pertaining to its specific energy field. When the oils are blended together therapeutically these blends are known as synergies. When blended together in this way they can produce even more powerful effects . All blends are made to the specific requirements of the individual.
